Saddiyat island is 27sq kms made up of 7 districts and
40% public housing. Saadiyat means happy in Arabic and influenced
the signage strategy to ‘build happy diverse communities’.
The core values of sustainability, environment, culture and
innovation were instrumental in defining design elements.

The document was perfect bound with a laser engraved ply cover, silk ribbon markers and frenchfold die cut dividers.
The Guidelines included: district definitions, pedestrian signage, cycle routes, street directories, bus stops, thresholds, public park and car park strategies
