Lara graduated from St Martins with a BA (Hons) in Graphic Design in 1994 and since has run her own practice and worked with design consultancies that include Event, Fitch, Met Studio, HOK, Portland, Sedley Place, producers and set designers at ITV, HTV Channel 5 and the BBC.
As Director of Branding and Graphics at Portland she created game changing projects for Nuance, IKEA, BAA, Diageo, and the DOT.
Well-versed in environmental branding and placemaking she wrote and designed guidelines for Piccadilly Lights, IKEA group, Grandi Stazioni, TDIC’s Saadiyat Island and the NEC Birmingham.
As Creative Director at Event Communications, she developed graphic narratives for an exhibition in Zaha Hadids KAPSARC building Saudi Arabia, the galleries within Fosters SZNM in Abu Dhabi and 2nd Space in Venice.
She completed her MA in Scenography at The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama with distinction in 2014 and was a selected artist at the London Art Benniale Jan 2015 where she exhibited the 'Elastic Swarm' and 'pulse sensor studies'.
A recent stint as Design Director at Sedley Place saw her combine her love for identity design and place making, creating identities for L'escargot Soho, Coco Privé in the Maldives and the Advertising Guidelines for Piccadilly Lights at Piccadilly Circus.
